DAY 1 - ATHENS-AGISTRI

Drop off your bags at the SailWeek Check in desk at the Alimos Marina anytime from 9 AM.
In the early afternoon come to the Alimos marina and meet your skipper and your sailing companions. We are planning to embark around 3 PM. After relaxing sail, we'll dock in Megalochori on Agistri island. Rent a bike, enjoy sandy beaches and explore secluded coves around this tiny island. After dinner in one of the traditional greek tavernas go clubbing with our newly made friends.

DAY 2 - HYDRA

Early in the morning we set sails towards ancient Hydra, the pearl of Argosaronic. Explore the walls and backstreets of this beautiful old town.Climb the hill top for a spectacular view over the port. Swim in small coves with crystal water and green surroundings. In the afternoon take a donkey ride and enjoy the most beautiful sunset in Hydronetta bar.

DAY 3 - ERMIONI

In the morning we'll sail out to Ermioni.This town is located on the Greek mainland but gives the impression that you are actually on one of the most beautiful islands of Greece. The town is a maze of small streets and cobbled paths.Walk the Bisti pine forest, explore little bathing coves with sparkly clear water and the remains of an ancient site. In the night enjoy numerous bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

DAY 4 - SPETSES

Take a short walk on the cobbled stone streets to the picturesque old harbour and Dåpia, a tourist and commercial centre, where the heart of the island's entertainment beats. Visit local artists and craft shops. Rent a scooter or a quad and explore the island and its numerous beaches. For the night enjoy fresh fish bought straight from the fisherman or local greek cuisine in one of many traditional tavernas.

DAY 5 - DOKOS

Join our skippers as they buy fresh fish from the locals. Sail to a quiet bay tucked away on this deserted island. Perfect day to relax, sunbathe, dive and paddle board. Enjoy the beach with your companions and play with the donkeys while your skipper prepares our famous beach bbq. Catch the sunset and witness the breathtaking night sky with no bright lights to distract you.

DAY 6 - POROS

This small island is the most famous for its fishermans, lemon trees and beaches. Rent a scooter or a quad and explore this tiny island. Climb the clock tower for a beautiful view over the seafront. Take a short boat ride, cross the channel to the mainland Peloponnesus and stroll around the Lemon Forest. Enjoy sandy beaches, watersports and eat at local tavernas known for delectable fresh fish. After dinner we'll have a night out in the Poros best- Malibu bar.

DAY 7 - ATHENS

Enjoy a leisurely day on the way back to the Alimos marina. Chill out and enjoy the final lunch on board with your new friends. After docking in the marina, relax and prepare yourself for your last night in the Greek capital. Catch a taxi or a 30 minutes bus ride to the old town and explore Athens nightlife including clubs, bars and restaurants. Friday night accommodation is on your yacht in Athens Alimos Marina, FREE OF CHARGE.

DAY 8 - OPTIONAL

Have an extra few days after your SailWeek Greece? Excellent!

  • Why not visit the famous volcanic Santorini island with its white houses overlooking the Mediterranean and enjoy the most beautiful sunset.

No matter what accommodation option you book (full yacht/spots) all boats travel together and for that week are the part of the SailWeek flotilla.

  • The airport in Athens is the closest and most convenient airport to our departure marina in Alimos (Athens) where we start our Sail Week Greece.

    Alimos marina:

    • Address: Kalamaki, Piraeus Athens, Greece 17456

    • If you're traveling to Greece a passport that is valid for at least 90 days is required. Those traveling from certain countries may require a visa. We recommend using VisaHQ to find out if you require any visas to enter the country - www.visahq.co.uk
    • Check-in desk is open from 9am until 2PM in your departure marina, Alimos Athens. Let us know in advance if you have late flight.
    • We aim to sail out around around 3PM.
    • We return to the Alimos marina Friday afternoon and latest check-out time is until 9am on Saturday morning.
      If you have to go earlier you can do an early check-out. Please let us know in advance if you require early check-out.
  • Mediterranean style groceries for breakfast and light lunch are included and delivered straight to your yachts on Saturday afternoon. It includes all basic household items necessary for the week on the yacht.

    • Breakfast and lunch are prepared by skippers on SailWeek Greece.
    • You are required to keep the yacht tidy and clean the dishes.
    • If you run out of food you may bring your own food and drinks on board any time at no additional charge. There are local shops and supermarkets at most shore stops to re-supply if needed.
    • NOTE: If you have any dietary requirements we will make every effort to cater to your specific needs as long as you ask us in advance. But please be aware that although we will do everything in our power to arrange it, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cater all dietary needs, particularly in the more isolated villages.
    • On your yacht full bedding will be provided so you do not need to bring a sleeping bag.
       
    • We recommend soft bags, suitcases or frameless backpacks, plus a small day pack or carry bag. No external framed bags please, as they can damage or mark the walls of the yacht/cabin. Please limit your luggage to a maximum of 20kg.
       
    • Please note that due to space and weight restrictions on our yachts, passengers with too much luggage on departure may be told that they cannot take their entire luggage with them. SailWeek will provide secure luggage storage during the trip for all large framed suitcases or any other piece of luggage for a week rate of 15€ per piece).
